International Choral Kathaumixw

Two choirs from the International Choral Kathaumixw festival (Powell River, BC) are coming to Squamish.
Sta. Teresa College Cherubim ~ Philippines
Not just singers but performers in the real sense of the word, the members strive to maintain a distinctive style, sincerity and character, qualities that make them one of the enduring and ranking youth choirs and artists of its community and country as well.
Les Jeunes Chanteurs d’Acadie ~ Canada
Throughout the years, les Jeunes Chanteurs d’Acadie gained national and international recognition by participating in many competitions and festivals across Canada, the United States and Europe, where they won numerous first place prizes and prestigious awards. The choir is comprised of 33 singers aged 12 to 18 and continues to thrive towards musical excellence. Les Jeunes Chanteurs d’Acadie continue to spread the Acadian’s “Joie de vivre” by singing songs from the traditional Acadian repertoire.
